THE NATIONAL 9/11 MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM MESS - SAD TRIBUTE TO THOSE WORKERS WHO SACRIFICED SO MUCH TO MAKE A REALITY OUT OF DISASTER
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has advised that work at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum project at the World Trade Center site is halting, and that the Museum will not open as scheduled in 2012 due to financial disputes between the Port Authority and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum Foundation. This is a sad testament to the many construction workers who labored under incredibly difficult conditions to make this project a reality. They, and the public, are the ones who suffer from this travesty.
