Carnival Corporation, the parent company of Costa Cruises and nine other cruise lines, has announced that it will complete a full review of its safety and emergency response procedures after the fatal Costa Concordia accident that occurred off the coast of Italy last month.

While Carnival continues to express confidence in the safety of its ships and the skill of its crew, this evaluation is designed to make sure that policies and procedures are in place to avoid this type of accident from happening again in the future.
