At Hofmann & Schweitzer, we are advocating aggressively for a victim of exposure in the workplace. Our latest action is filing a legal complaint against the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA).

Our client, Frank Maloney, was a ship's engineer on DRBA vessels for 25 years and was exposed to diesel fumes and other noxious gases during the course of his work. Today he is afflicted with bronchiolitis obliterans, an irreversible, life-threatening lung condition that causes extreme discomfort.

We are confident that the evidence will show that exposure was the result of unseaworthy vessels - owned and operated by the DRBA - that exposed Mr. Maloney to high levels of aerosolized diesel fuel and diesel engine exhaust fumes and other toxic vapors, chemicals, dusts and particulate matter.
