Community Initiatives
Benjamin Johnson, Attorney
Benjamin Johnson provides pro bono legal services through various volunteer efforts in the community:
- He regularly volunteers with the Moot Court program at his alma mater, Brooklyn Law School. While not in an official capacity, he supports current students by organizing and participating in mock trial sessions to help them prepare for competitions. He typically volunteers once or twice per semester.
- Benjamin also donates his time to CUNY Citizenship Now, participating in monthly or bi-monthly citizenship events. At these events, he assists individuals in completing their N-400 naturalization forms, helping them take meaningful steps toward U.S. citizenship.
Dario Anthony Chinigo, Attorney

During his time in office, he acted as liaison to the Historic Commission, Library, Police Department, Department of Public Works, and Fire Department. He was also elected Council President for two consecutive years.
- Following his council service, Dario was appointed to the town’s Land Use Board in early 2024, where he currently helps oversee planning, zoning, and development regulations. He also serves on several sub-committees.
- Beyond his official roles, Dario remains active in the community, volunteering his time with local Boy Scout troops and various charitable organizations.
